Our Directory is one of the most visited channels on our site, so you want to be sure that you add your website here! You can add one for a friend, your club, organization or for a client, too. And, if you don't have a website, use your PREMIUM listing as a mini-website - just use the URL you see at the top of your listing (in the browser bar) as your 'webpage'. See below for all of the benefits you get with a PREMIUM Directory listing.

Add YOUR Listing

There are 3 levels for the Directory listings. All listings are for 3 years from the date that you enter your listing:

• PREMIUM Listing - this is located at the top of the other listings.
  • A PREMIUM listing allows you to upload a 250x250 image to accompany your listing. (If you need your image sized to fit, email it to creative@horsesinthesouth.com and we wil make it work for you and 'spiff' it up.)
  • You get 200 charaters of text to add with your listing, so this can be like a mini-webpage for you - just use the URL you see at the top of your listing (in the browser bar) as your 'webpage'. And, you can change the text and image as often as you want!
  • You may select up to SIX (6) categories for your PREMIUM listing.
  • Your PREMIUM Listing is displayed next to the *Resource Guide listings that are used for articles corresponding with the businesses that have a Premium listing. Just send us your accompanying advertorial, article or press release so that we can publish this in the associated category. I will display next to your listing that will be in the right column of the business *Resource Guide. The Resource Guide links are on the left menu next to the Directory listings. These links will take you to articles and press releases for the PREMIUM listings. *Resource Guide listings are like a press release about your product, service, event sponsorship or an advertorial. These are valued at $25 each.
  • PREMIUM Directory listings have the share bookmarklet. Use our social media Share bookmarklet to add your PREMIUM Directory listing to your Facebook account, to your Twitter account, LinkedIn, Digg, Delicious and any other social networking site that you belong to. Be a part of Web 2.0 and viral networking! We will even add your listing for you to our own accounts as we see your PREMIUM listing go into our database. Ask your friends to do this too!
  • You may change your listing and photo/image any time you wish.
  • We can provide you with the number of clicks that your listing has gotten via an admin lookup on our database. What other equine directory can provide you with that information? Some listings have gotten hundreds and hundreds of clicks.
• BASIC Listing - this listing does not allow an image, just the text area.
  • It is listed below the PREMIUM listings. This listing does not correspond with the Resource Guide listings.
  • You may select up to 3 catgegories for the BASIC listing.
• FREE listings - we don't have a restriction on how many of these that you can have in the different categories, but we would appreciate a reciprocal link back to our site at http://HorsesintheSouth.com, especially if you enter a lot of listings. This will actually help your site in the search engine rankings because our site is ranked very high and gets 'spidered' all of the time. Especially, since we are a news aggregator and have so many articles online.
