October 24, 2025 – Mill Spring, NC – In the final week of the Tryon Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola, Jessica Springsteen launched into the week earning the lion’s share of the $32,000 LeMieux Welcome Stake CSI 2*. Tackling the Kevin Holowack course on Thursday were 48 horse and rider combinations.
Coming off of a successful week during Major League Show Jumping at Tryon International, Jessica Springsteen (USA) rode the Stone Hill Farm entry, Naomi Van Het Keizershof (VDL Cardento 933 x For Pleasure), to the top of the leaderboard. Just a quarter of a second behind the top spot was Nina Mallevaey (FRA) aboard Destine to Be (Diamant De Semilly x Grandilot), the 2016 Warmblood gelding owned by the Rein Family LLC. Completing the podium on yet another quick, clean ride was the Georgy Maskrey-Segesman entry, Contra (Contendro II x Alcatraz), the 2016 Holsteiner mare ridden by twenty-two-year-old Dominic Gibbs (USA).
Partnered with the 2013 Belgian Warmblood mare for the past six years, Jessica Springsteen elaborated on her rides. “I was really happy with my first round; she [Naomi Van Het Keizershof] felt great, really confident, and she was my second ride today, so I was able to see how the course went and adjust my plan a little bit.”
As the last rider to attempt the jump off, Springsteen needed to bring the speed. “She’s such a quick horse, so it’s [the jump off’s] really her strength. I was able to get a good turn on the second to last jump. I saw one more [stride], but I decided to go for one less, and that’s where I was able to pick up a little bit of time.”
Arriving at Tryon International for the Tryon Fall 5 Major League Show Jumping competition, Springsteen and her team remained on property for Tryon Fall 6. “It’s been so great! I feel like the horses are getting a ton of experience – I have a new horse here and I have another one that I’m still getting to know, so it’s great to be able to compete in these competitive classes while also bringing the other ones up!” She concluded with a happy note regarding her Tryon International experience. “We’re super happy to be here! We’ve been coming here every fall. The weather’s incredible, it’s super relaxing, and we’re just having a great time!”
