Strzegom, 02.03.2026 — The 2026 season will introduce a new dimension of sporting competition at the hippodrome in Strzegom. For the first time, six international events in the Strzegom eventing calendar will form a unified series with an overall ranking and a total prize fund of €10,000. The newly introduced scoring system rewards consistency, peak performance at key moments of the season, and results achieved in the highest competition levels.
The overall classification is based on a rider’s four best results, achieved across a minimum of three different events within the series. The title will therefore be contested by those who can maintain top sporting form throughout the entire season in Strzegom. Results from the following classes will count toward the ranking: CCI3*L, CCI3*S, CCI2*L, CCI2*S, CCI1*Intro. Points are awarded exclusively to the top-performing riders — up to a maximum of 25% of starters in each class.
DCU Strzegom Tour 2026 includes six international competitions that build sporting momentum from spring to autumn grande finale:
- Strzegom Spring Open I
- Strzegom Spring Open II
- Strzegom Horse Trials
- Strzegom Summer Tour
- Strzegom Autumn Show
- Strzegom October Festival
The scoring system differentiates the value of results according to the competition level — from 1* to 3*. The higher the level, the greater the points awarded, with victories in the top classes worth up to 60 points.
Two key events will carry special significance in the overall standings:
- Strzegom Horse Trials (25-28 czerwca)
- Strzegom October Festival (8-11 października)
During these competitions, all results will be calculated with a 1.5 multiplier. This increases the strategic importance of both events and ensures that the overall standings may remain undecided until the final competition of the series.
A Prize Worth Competing For — €10,000 Total
The DCU Strzegom Tour winner will be the rider with the highest total number of points. The overall prize fund amounts to €10,000:
- 1st place – 5.000 EUR
- 2nd place – 3.000 EUR
- 3rd place – 2.000 EUR
The introduction of a season-long overall ranking brings an even higher level of excitement and sporting intensity to Strzegom. Consistency, form, and performance under pressure will determine who makes history as the first-ever winner of the DCU Strzegom Tour.
