Leatherdale Farms’ Mounts Claim Champion & Reserve Champion Titles in Canada

September 5, 2025 – It has been a successful summer for the Leatherdale Farms horses in training with Canadian Grand Prix riders, Diane Creech and Vanessa Creech-Terauds.

Julius, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding owned by Lousie Leatherdale, claimed an Intermediaire II Championship title during the 2025 Caledon Dressage at Angelstone – August with Diane Creech.

Helmi, a 14-year-old Hanoverian mare owned and bred by Louise Leatherdale, impressed in the Open Small Tour, earning the Reserve Championship with rider Vanessa Creech-Terauds during the 2025 Caledon Dressage at Angelstone – August.

Louise Leatherdale’s 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding, Daniel L, captured the spotlight in the FEI Big Tour Open Division, taking home the Championship title at the 2025 Caledon Dressage at Angelstone – August with Creech-Terauds.

Leatherdale Farms’ 6-year-old Hanoverian mare Duett made her Fourth Level debut at the end of August, scoring an impressive 70%, signaling a bright future as she advances up the levels with rider Creech-Terauds. The young mare went on to score a 69.7% in her second show at fourth level.

The 6-year-old made her show debut this winter at the 2025 Adequan Global Dressage Festival. She scored a season-high personal best of 72.631% in their Week 12 USEF Third Level Test.
