Show Jumping Reshuffles the Leaderboard at Strzegom Summer Tour

Strzegom, 1 August 2026 –The third day of Strzegom Summer Tour 2026 brought more sporting excitement to the Morawa Hippodrome. On Saturday, riders in the international eventing classes contested the show jumping phase, which determined the leaders ahead of the decisive cross-country. At the same time, competition also began in the Polish Youth Olympiad, while the winners of the national classes were crowned later in the day.

CCI4*-S – New Leader at the Top

The CCI4*-S leaderboard changed after the show jumping phase, with Germany’s Jan Matthias and Peppermint Patty FRH moving into first place following a faultless round. Ben Leuwer and Zuccini MN now sit in second, while Emma Hartmann and Baloucor hold third place. With only a few penalties separating the leading combinations, Sunday’s cross-country promises a thrilling battle for victory.

CCI3*-S – Olympic Champion Remains in Front

The CCI3*-S standings remain just as competitive. Ingrid Klimke retained the lead aboard Candy 851, while a clear show jumping round moved Ben Leuwer and Hanami 4 into second place. Maj-Jonna Ziebell and Creed 5 currently occupy third.

The Polish riders also impressed. After a faultless round, Karolina Miś and Go Jack climbed to an excellent fourth place, keeping their podium hopes alive ahead of the cross-country. Close behind them, in fifth place, are Jan Kamiński and Cavalencia.

Polish Youth Olympiad Gets Underway

Saturday also marked the start of the Polish Youth Olympiad in Eventing and the Polish Junior Championships. The young riders opened their championships with the dressage and cross-country phases, beginning their quest for Poland’s most prestigious youth titles.
