Strzegom, 31 July 2026 — The second day of the Strzegom Summer Tour was dedicated to the dressage phase of the international eventing competitions. Riders from 13 countries competed at the Morawa venue, aiming to secure the best possible position ahead of Saturday’s cross-country and show jumping phases. National show jumping classes were also held throughout the day.
CCI4*-S
Germany’s Ben Leuwer and Zuccini MN took the lead in the CCI4*-S after dressage with a score of 31.9 penalties. Close behind is team Olympic champion from Beijing and London, Ingrid Klimke, riding Kallista on 32.1 penalties, while Nadine Marzahl and Victoria 108 complete the top three with 32.6 penalties. With only fractions of a point separating the leaders, an exciting battle is expected in the remaining phases.
CCI3*-S
German riders also dominated the CCI3*-S dressage standings. Ingrid Klimke and Candy 851 lead the competition on 24.8 penalties, ahead of Maj-Jonna Ziebell and Creed 5 (27.1 penalties) and Ben Leuwer with Hanami 4 (29.7 penalties). All three podium positions after the opening phase belong to German combinations, who will now aim to defend their advantage over the weekend.
