London, 12 October 2026 – Royal Windsor Horse Show will return to the private grounds of Windsor Castle from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 May 2027, bringing four days of world-class equestrian sport, spectacular displays, family entertainment, and country lifestyle to one of the most iconic settings in sport.
Tickets for the 2027 edition of the Show, whose Patron is His Majesty The King, will go on sale on Tuesday 13 October, giving visitors the opportunity to experience one of the most prestigious fixtures in the international equestrian calendar.
Uniquely combining elite competition with heritage, pageantry, and tradition, Royal Windsor Horse Show, with Range Rover as Principal Partner, will welcome leading horses and riders from around the globe for an extensive programme of international Show Jumping, Carriage Driving, and Endurance, alongside more than 120 Showing classes and displays.
At the heart of the sporting programme will be CSI5* Show Jumping in the Castle Arena, culminating in the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix on Sunday 16 May. The class will bring together some of the best horse and rider combinations as they compete for one of the most coveted titles on the international circuit.
The CAIO4* International Carriage Driving showcases the skill, precision, and speed of the sport’s top Drivers. More than 24 teams of four will compete in the three phases of the competition: Driven Dressage, the exhilarating Marathon, and the Cones. The competition remains one of the highlights of the Show.
Taking place against the spectacular backdrop of Windsor Great Park, Royal Windsor Endurance will provide a demanding test of stamina and horsemanship, as combinations compete across a variety of distances at CEI1*, CEI2*, and CEI3* levels over the historic estate.
Showing remains at the heart of Royal Windsor Horse Show. From some of the country’s finest native breeds to military horses and mounted games, the programme of more than 120 different classes will celebrate the extraordinary breadth of breeds in the equestrian world.
Alongside the international and national sporting action, the 2027 Show will feature a varied programme of equestrian displays and entertainment for all the family. Among the returning favourites will be the ever-popular Range Rover Shetland Pony Grand National, which combines speed, skill, and plenty of excitement for spectators of all ages, as well as the DAKS Pony Club Mounted Games.
New for 2027, the Azerbaijan Cup will expand from a single evening of polo, historically held on Saturday evening, into a three-night tournament featuring three teams. Throughout the four days of the show, visitors will also be able to enjoy a new Sports Bar, which will offer a relaxed setting for drinks and games, viewing the sport taking place at the weekend and engaging in some fun bar sports. The family entertainment programme will be expanded further for the weekend, with stilt walkers, ferret racing, duck herding, and falconry displays among the activities planned across the Showground.
Seating in the Castle Arena ‘West Stand’ will be unreserved, giving visitors greater flexibility to choose where they sit on the day. This marks a change from 2026, when the majority of seats in the West Stand were allocated and ticketed in advance. Visitors may still reserve a seat in the Castle Arena ‘Castle Stand’ and enjoy its enclosure with views onto the arena and Café. Furthermore, 2027 will see the introduction of a ‘Chosen Family’ ticket, offering a discounted rate for groups of four with at least one adult and one child.
For those wishing to enjoy the Show in elevated style, Royal Windsor Club Membership offers an exclusive way to experience the event from the prestigious Club Enclosure. Existing Members who have purchased a Membership within the past two years will benefit from an exclusive priority booking window from Tuesday 13 October, ahead of Memberships going on general sale from Tuesday 20 October.
Simon Brooks-Ward, Chairman of HPower International, Organisers of Royal Windsor Horse Show, said: “Royal Windsor Horse Show is a very special event, bringing together outstanding equestrian sport with the unique heritage and atmosphere of Windsor Castle. Our ambition for 2027 is to deliver four memorable days for everyone who comes through the gates, whether they are passionate equestrian fans, families enjoying the displays and entertainment, or visitors simply looking to experience a wonderful day out in an extraordinary setting. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Windsor in May.”
