March 17, 2024 – Ocala, FL – One final full day of jumper action kicked off early on Sunday morning as the atmosphere buzzed at HITS Post Time Farm. Jumper competition was fuller and fiercer than ever throughout the winter circuit’s ninth week as athletes flocked in from around the country in preparation for the final week of sport. A busy week concluded with one final featured event as 37 pairings turned out for the $24,500 Horseflight Jumper Classic.
In a show of true St. Patrick’s Day spirit, Ireland’s Jordan Coyle laid down one more dominating round for a win in the class aboard Keep Me With You N.C. An impressive number of entries advanced to Catsy Cruz’s immediate-return short course, but Coyle continued his winning ways and laid down the gauntlet as he stopped the clock in 37.05 seconds.
“Keep Me With You is a new horse for me and she’s still young at only nine, but is one that I’m really excited about,” stated Coyle of the Falkirk Farm’s nine-year-old KWPN mare. “She was acquired by my wife, Kim, and her family’s Falkirk Farm at the end of last year. She jumped the two-star 1.35m at La Silla in Mexico in November and then came to Florida where we have been slowly getting to know her at the national level.”
