Devon, Pennsylvania – September 11, 2026 – Friday night set the pace at the 2026 Devon Fall Classic as speed took center stage for the $10,000 Speed Stake 1.40m, sponsored by Land Rover Main Line, where horse-and-rider combinations raced against the clock for top honors in the evening’s featured competition.
$10,000 Speed Stake 1.40m
Taylor Madden did just that Friday night, returning to the Dixon Oval aboard her second mount Manhattan VDL and racing to a fault-free 57.788-second victory in the $10,000 Speed Stake 1.40m, sponsored by Land Rover Main Line. The win marked a memorable return to Devon for Madden, who previously competed in the equitation as a junior and stepped back into the Dixon Oval this week for the first time as an adult competitor.
Thoroughbred Jumper Division Champion
One year after sharing the Thoroughbred Jumper Championship at the Devon Fall Classic, Michelle Korcz returned to the Dixon Oval with Neal Shapiro’s Will Scarlett and made the title their own. With two blue-ribbon performances across the three-class division, the pair captured the TAKE2 Thoroughbred Jumper Championship.
