Bluman Dethrones Bond at The Ridge

Loxahatchee Groves, FL (March 28, 2024) – Israel’s Daniel Bluman dethroned his fellow countryman Ashlee Bond on Wednesday, as double points and coveted prizes set the tone for competition at The Ridge. Bluman piloted a trio of bays, Del Mar, Lady Applaus, and Cachemire de Braize, in the final $5,000 1.30m Rising Star Classic of the 2024 Florida winter season. His first and third finish aboard Del Mar (35.355) and Cachemire (35.869) bumped Bond into second place in the Verijet Leading Rider Open Standings, while the USA’s John Angus finished second and sixth aboard W. Tonix Hero and Fou de Vous to slip to third in the Verijet Standings.

Emilie Louise Smith, after multiple classes aboard her 1.10m-1.20m mount Kickstart, leads the pack to win Prestige’s Paris Jumping saddle. The Prestige Junior/Amateur Leading Rider as of Wednesday’s classes had Smith with an amazing 214 points. Loke Kriegel, who rides with Biran Bech-Hansen’s Tallin Farm under the instruction of Nona Garson of The Ridge, is in second with 101 points and Arthur Guerineau is in third with 70 points.
