HITS Hudson Valley
Serving as a season finale, Dressage at HITS Hudson Valley hosted the GAIG/USDF Region 8 Championships and HITS Open on September 17-20, 2026. The world-class facility in Saugerties, New York ran eight competition rings in total with full schedules that also featured the signature GAIG/USDF Championship classes and a USEF Level 4 Qualifier recognition. Amongst the lineup of talented dressage athletes, it was top international rider Silva Martin and Farouche that gave standout performances in the GAIG/USDF Intermediate I Championship Open and the GAIG/USDF Prix St Georges Championship Open.
Also making an appearance at HITS Hudson Valley was Jennifer Garutti and Avatar’s Jazzman. Jazzman, a 24-year-old Morgan gelding, has had an extraordinary career with accolades of competing in the Grand Prix Dressage Level, performing in the training levels of Eventing, and even representing the Morgan breed as a Breyer Horse model. Now, Garutti and Jazzman take it easy and have fun making their way down the HITS Hudson Valley centerline.

HITS Dressage also brought the 2026 Dressage at HITS Lamplight season to a close on September 17-20, 2026, with the Great American Insurance Group (GAIG)/United States Dressage Federation (USDF) Region 2 Championships and September Dressage at Lamplight show. Featuring the prestigious GAIG/USDF Championship classes and a USEF Level 4 Qualifier recognition, the popular facility in Wayne, Illinois welcomed all levels of dressage athletes and horses with incredible stories, such as Dude, an eight-year-old Clydesdale gelding ridden by Keegan O’Brien, and Taavi, a 19-year-old Haflinger gelding ridden by Elizabeth Ketterer, to name a few.
